North Yorkshire Village Pubs
There are a good number of
village pubs in North Yorkshire, but when you combine the attributes of
.....our North Yorkshire
Village Pub is arguably amongst the very best in this, the largest County
in England.
Steeped in history, and less than a mile from the market town of Boroughbridge,
the village of Aldborough
is the ideal stopping off place for travellers, whether they are North, East,
West or South bound.
Please feel free to use
the Useful Links, which will enable you to learn about so many interesting
places for you to visit. We are surrounded by countless attractions that make
our county the favourite amongst our many visitors. They all return to "The
Ship" when they have had a good day's tourism.
We also welcome business
people, who find our location so very handy, principally because of our
proximity to the A1(M). The Cities of York and Leeds are within easy each,
whilst the North East is "just up the road", as we say in this neck of the
woods.
Please use our Port and
Starboard menus (See the explanation by clicking on the large picture of The
Ship, above) to navigate through our web site, where we are confident that you will find
exactly what you are looking for. If you find our web site lacking in any way,
or difficult to follow, please use one of the "Contact Us" pages and let us
know. You will find that we are very good listeners, and nothing will be too
much trouble.

Even if you
are looking for a rowing boat in the car park.
The menu system of our web site is quite
different from the vast majority, not just because we have more than
one, but because, when you want to cursor down a deep page, such as
this one, no matter what your screen dimensions are, the menus very
obediently follow you down the page, so that they are ALWAYS in
view (*). That way, when you want to go to another page, you don't need
to go back to the top of the page that you are on to do that.
* On the "State Room"
and "Galley" pages, the menu bars stay where they are, to make the
page contents easier to read.
Being "The Ship", you would
expect our navigational system to be the very best! |
